PhotoCut Studio is a free tool for removing the background from images and generating application icons. All processing happens in your browser; we do not upload or store your files. The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability, of the accuracy of the cutout or of fitness for a particular purpose.
The images you process are yours and remain yours: we acquire no rights over them (in fact, we never receive them). You are solely responsible for holding the necessary rights to the images you use and for how you use the results.
Do not use the tool to create content that is illegal or that infringes the rights of third parties (intellectual property, image rights, privacy). Any breach is the sole responsibility of the user.
The site may show third-party advertising to support the project (see the privacy policy) and accept voluntary donations through Ko-fi. Donations do not grant any additional rights over the service.
The code, design and brand of PhotoCut Studio are the property of its author. Third-party dependencies are credited in the application's "About" panel, together with their respective licenses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of (or inability to use) the tool, including data loss or unsatisfactory cutout results. Your original files are never modified: the tool works on in-memory copies.
We may update these terms; the date in the header reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
